Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。Family tensions between a brother and sister with psychic powers threaten to tear apart the filming of an episode of a paranormal reality TV show. But simmering emotions may be the least of the crew's problems...。这是一档全程记录女性蜕变的充满正能量的节目，许多因为丑陋失去信心的女性通过手术整形、形体训练、时尚包装等全方位的美丽改造方案，帮助他们拥有美丽和自信，让她们重燃生活的勇气，实现了美丽梦想。其中很多女性甚至成为模特、艺人，彻底颠覆了原本平凡的生活。该节目找来一些真正的素人，这些女性素人几乎都是被外貌所困扰，透过节目以及整形医生的协助，得以重生。每集记录以“为丑女变美”的过程。每集开头一般是一个自卑了二十几年的丑女畏畏缩缩地倾诉，因为自己的丑对人生没有希望……希望上节目，可以被改造变成自信的美女。。
