In 1974, the Portuguese and their descendants fled Angola where nationalist groups gradually claimed their territory back. A tribal girl discovers love and death when her path crosses that of a Portuguese soldier. Then, a Portuguese squad is barracked inside a wall from which they will have to escape once the past comes out of the grave to claim its long-awaited justice.。第30届香港电影金像奖于2011年2月8日下午公布提名名单。 2011年4月17日星期日晚，假香港文化中心大剧院颁发，大会共颁发21个奖项。颁奖典礼司仪毛舜筠、郑丹瑞及谷德昭，红地毯司仪是蒋怡和林晓峰，大赢家是《狄仁杰之通天帝国》，共取得最佳导演、最佳女主角等六个奖项，其次是《打擂台》，获得最佳电影等四个奖项。今届典礼最大特色是播放最多历届经典得奖者片段。整个颁奖典礼历时将近四小时。。本片描述一名曾经在白人和红人社会出生入死多次的人瑞回忆他的一生经历，从一个侧面反映了美国西部开拓时期的一页血与泪的历史。本片是这红人翻案的反传统西部片，内容和构想都处理得颇具新意，每一段情节都具有相当高的趣味性。达斯廷．霍夫曼在片中从十几岁演到一百二十岁，是演技上的一大突破，另外马丁．巴山姆、费伊．达纳韦等演员的表演也不落俗套。。
