美丽女孩氏家鞠子（长泽雅美 饰）拥有一段不堪回首的悲惨童年，少女时代的她自感和父母没有相似之处，因此有被讨厌的感觉。在一次诡异的火灾中，母亲（铃木砂羽 饰）葬身火海，她和父亲（佐野史郎 饰）也身受重伤。某天，即将迎来毕业的鞠子生活突然骤起波澜。新闻节目News Eleven采访了一名校园歌手小林双叶，而她的容貌竟然和鞠子一模一样，看到新闻的鞠子父亲、议员伊原骏策（伊武雅刀 饰）以及小林的母亲（手冢理美 饰）均大为震惊。回想童年迄今为止的种种疑点，鞠子决定前往东京寻找另一个“自己”以及她们的身世之谜……
