A seasoned woman from the world of show business, recruits 11 Romanian dancers dreaming of fame and glory to take them to Paris. One of them decides to leave her husband, but he doesn't take it very well and starts on a journey to get back his wife and plenty of hilarious things happen along the way.。该片讲述了1949年4月下旬，国民党军长江防线被突破，解放军乘胜南下，准备一鼓作气拿下中国的金融中心上海。但是，这座当时被称为“远东第一城”的大都市，却给当时的共产党人出了一道难题：如何才能将城市破坏和人民伤亡降到最低？故事的叙述由此展开。。
