《白银帝国》描写的山西票号“天成元”堪称清代的全国“金融大鳄”，它掌控全国金融，兼营存放款，生意鼎盛时拥有中国各地以及俄国、蒙古、日本及南洋的二十三个分号，富可敌国。本片的主轴正是“天成元”这一商业帝国两代之间的传承故事。除了纠缠父子二人与一奇女子的三角恋情之外，更是借此传承过程表现中国两大思想体系－－法家与儒家的义理之争。在影片中，又通过对绑匪横行、八国联军、辛亥革命等一系列历史事件的背景展示，凸显出“商人重义”这一晋商不同于其它的仁义精神。。由於紀念『劇場版 Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works』上映，製作《Fate/stay night TV Reproduction》特別編集版，並於2010年1月17日於BS-TBS撥出。DVD於2010年1月22日發行，一共兩集。 Fate/stay night TV Reproduction 是將原本的TV動畫版進行再編集，並且把片頭動畫進行重新製作。
