影片讲述了几个外来者的到来让村子各种离奇诡异的故事纷涌而至。傻子到村子，村民屡次被傻子的行为逗乐，村里最爱探案的“福尔摩斯”吴良志收留了傻子。傻子和沛菡在一起玩耍，关系亲密，喜欢沛菡的杜宇由于嫉妒要把傻子赶出村子．杜宇策划了一起“偷鸡”的案子。村民们出现了夜晚幻听幻视的现象。傻子来到村子调查真相并阻止这场阴谋。村民揭穿了杜宇和先生勾结劝村民搬离村子的嘴脸。三爷提出由公安机关，倡议大家发展旅游让村里经济的发展。。Civilisation is coming to an end.
