Director David Cronenberg faces his own mortality in this surreal short film. The creator of "The Fly" and "Dead Ringers" manages to observe himself after death, all curious about the body who peacefully rest in bed and to which he reacts very tenderly.。荒野难驯，只能奋力搏生存。。基因石被毁，不料基因石能量逸出，飘散到地球各处，引发了异常现象：森林树木变得更茂密，湖泊海洋闪发着光，电力强化导致设备爆炸。由于基因源事故，武装战士变成变形机甲、生物进化为虫族、浩肯星人异化为变异战士，故事从变形机甲、机甲兽和变异战士三方之间的斗争展开。。
