岩谷（入山法子 饰）是一名新闻人，缜密的逻辑和利落的作风让她深受上司的信赖，是名副其实的职场女强人。然而，岩谷过分刻板和不苟言笑的性格令她常常遭到周遭的误会，甚至被同事和朋友们排挤。一次，岩谷和上司之间发生了矛盾，岩谷因此被调往了不受欢迎的生活情报部门，与此同时，岩谷发 现自己相恋多年的男友竟然在外偷腥，爱情事业双双失利的岩谷跌落了生活的谷底。
